Please not that if you use our online checkout, just as in a real shop once you click the buy button, you have entered a contract between yourself (the buyer) and Pepperpatina or myself (the seller). What this means in real terms is that you (the buyer) agree to buy the item, goods, or product at the price at which it has been offered by myself or Pepperpatina (the seller). This could be the advertised or displayed price or a price agreed between ourselves (the buyer and the seller), in communication such as,In person over the Phone or through E-mail contact. This agreement is legally binding as it would be in a real physical shop or an agreement between (a seller and buyer), as stated bellow you have certain legal rights to cancel or return your purchase, these conditions are listed below.

Please note due to the individual nature and rareness of our products we work on a first come first served basis. In real terms this means whoever agrees to buy the product first, is the person (the buyer) that we at Pepperpatina will accept as the only buyer and successful purchaser of the item. We will refund any payments and money back to the buyer, less any costs incurred by Pepperpatina for mistakes made by the buyer. 

Our Products

We sell Antiques and items of a Vintage period, they are Second-Hand and used, some items were originally Handmade or manufactured 100 plus years ago. Our Antiques and Vintage items only receive the amount of attention we think is needed for re-sale, we think that this minimal approach offers the most satisfying results, we try to provide an accurate description as possible including the items age, the items knocks scratches, and bumps, we describe as best work or restoration that has been completed out on each item, we will indicate in the description if the item in Antique, Vintage, Upcycled or New to best of our ability, where needed we seek expert advise in the various fields.

We sell our goods on a sold as seen basis this includes in person and online, online we provide as many pictures of the overall look of an item, its condition, and its colour, as best as possible. 

Any new item will be clearly described as well as any alteration that we have made to items, we think keeping everything clear makes for a better and happier time browsing and buying.

Pepperpatina accept no responsibility for an items condition, we clearly described the item in our literature in photos, in our advertising, in person, or online, or in shop. Please get in touch with us if you think we have misled you in your purchase.

Purchasing from Pepperpatina

When you do find an item that you would like to buy, click the add to basket button, when ready, go to your basket, check you are only buying the item that you would like to buy, click on checkout then follow the instructions for payment and delivery.

 We accept Card payments and PayPal at our online checkout.

Free Deliver and Delivery charges will be included at checkout.

Small items up to 20 kg 60cm x 60cm x 60cm

Medium item up to 20kg 100cm x 70cm x x70cm 

Large and Heavy items, Delivery cost will be calculated at checkout.

Mainland UK only, excluding (Northern Scotland and Northern Ireland and Isle of Man)

Please get in touch with us for delivery costs to Northern Scotland Northern Ireland, Ise of Man.

Extra-large items and Heavy itema please contact us for delivery prices and payment details. Checkout will not let you buy these items.

 If you would prefer to pay offline, please get in touch with us, we can then arrange alternative payment and shipping.

We can arrange for you to collect your item with pre-payment or Cash on collection. Please get in touch to arrange this.

Payments

VAT is included in our pricing for our UK customers, please get in touch if you are outside of Mainland UK.

We accept Payments made in Cash, Card, PayPal, Online, Phone or by prior arrangement, Bank Transfer, E-mail invoice.

Please note that we must receive payment in full for the goods before we can Dispatch and Deliver or arrange Collection for any items, if your goods are to be collected, we can arrange for the payment on collection in Cash or card or if you wish we can arrange with yourselves payment prior to collection.

We use Third party payment services, PayPal, Stripe, Square for our online and offline payments.

We keep no records of your card or bank details, these are stored with our 3rd party finance partners.

We only keep records of basic details needed for delivery and contact with yourself.

For over the phone or in person Card payment we will e-mail or post your receipt and delivery details. 

We can take Cash on Collection of goods, please note we have no Cash on site so exact money only.

Please note we cannot release goods for delivery or collection until payment has been received in full.

Phone and In person Payments.

Any Debit or Credit Card details or Bank details given to Pepperpatina By the buyer(customer) over the Phone or in Person, will only be held by us for the time that is required to process and deliver you order. This is usually within 24 hours of purchase. All financial details after this time will be destroyed. We will only retain basic information, Name, Address, contact details for Legal purposes and to contact you. You can legally request us not to contact you.

 We will pass on your Debit card or Credit card or Bank details to our 3rd party payment provider for the purpose to collect payment on behalf of Pepperpatina. Our 3rd party partners are Stripe, Square and PayPal.

We will give you the details of which 3rd party payment provider we have used when we issue your receipt, either by e-mail or by post.

We can take cash on collection of goods. Note we have no Cash on site so please exact money only.

Please note we cannot release goods for delivery or collection until payment has been made in full.

Delivery 

 Free Delivery and Delivery costs will be included at checkout.

 Small items up to 20gk and 60cm x 60cm x 60cm in size to Mainland UK.

Medium items up to 20gk and 100cm x 70cm x 70cm in size to Mainland UK.

Large and Heavy items for Mainland UK. Delivery costs vary from area to area, price will be calculated at checkout. (Not 2-man delivery)

For Extra-large and Heavy items, and for 2-man delivery please get in touch for details. Online Checkout will not let you buy these items.

VAT included for Mainland UK. 

The above delivery cost excludes Northern Scotland, Northern Ireland, and The Isle of Man, please get in touch with us for a quote on delivery.

For Non-Mainland UK please get in touch so we can accurately give you a quote for the delivery and taxes for your chosen item.

Delivery times for Mainland UK.                                                                                                                                                                             

Small to Medium items, usually 1 – 8 days.

Large items Usually 3 – 21 days. 

We will usually send a link for you to track your order, if this is not possible, we will be in touch to arrange a delivery date, or to keep you informed about your order.

Delivery is carried is by a trusted UK National International Delivery service or by our own in-house Delivery service.

 Please could you make sure that someone is available to accept delivery, couriered item will only be delivered to outside of the property.

Large and Extra-large items require either 2-man delivery or an able-bodied person on delivery site to aid in delivery, please could you make sure that someone is on site to aid us in delivery of your large item, please let us know if a 2-man delivery is required.

Please could you let us know of any road restrictions or property restrictions concerning your delivery.

All our stock can be viewed in person at our warehouse, you can collect the item on the day of viewing, or we can arrange for the items to be delivered to you.  Please get in touch to arrange a viewing day.

Cancelation

Cancelation can only be accepted before the item has been dispatched, usually within 24 hours.

Please contact us as soon as possible to reverse your order and refund your purchase, minus any cost incurred by Pepperpatina.

Returns

Please be aware that our stock is Either Antique or Vintage, they are second hand, their will be evidence of their previous lives, with knocks, bumps, scratches, etc, we do only sell the items where we think this aging process has increased the items charm and appearance. We do try to give an accurate description as possible of including items age, any damage, or restoration work done.

Pleases take this in mind, if you are still not happy, please get in touch so we can re-home the item.

Please get in touch with us as soon as possible if you have any issues with your order.

Please photograph any damage to packaging before opening, also photograph any damage as proof.

Returns can only be accepted within 14 days of buyer’s receipt of delivery.

We will issue you with a Cancelation and Returns Form and Return Details.

Please be aware, it is the buyer’s responsibility for all return costs, including postage and packaging. Item must be returned in its original condition and packaging, (please make sure item is well packaged). If the item is not returned to Pepperpatina in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Refund will be issued when we receive the item, deductions for any damage to the condition of the item, loss in value to the item or for the repair costs likely to be incurred by Pepperpatina. When inspection has been completed by one of our team, refund will be calculated and issued, we will keep you informed of this.
